YKIU merupakah sebuah lembaga nirlaba yang didikan oleh beberapa orang yang peduli terhadap pertumbuhan generasi muda di Aceh dan khususnya kota Lhokseumawe, provinsi Aceh, Indonesia. Bertujuan menjadi sebuah organisasi yang menggagas berdirinya sebuah lembaga pendidikan agama Islam untuk tingkat Tsanawiyah dan Aliyah dengan kualitas berstandar internasional. Membentuk lulusan yang memiliki akhlak yang tinggi serta memiliki pemahaman keilmuan agama Islam yang baik dan mampu berbahasa asing sebagai alat bagi mereka untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi di luar negeri terutama di negara-negara kawasan Timur Tengah.
